My projects
Ticketpro
My largest project written in Ruby on Rails so far. This is an advanced ticketing system designed for a helpdesk company that maintains many clients. Features include:
- advanced tickets permissions,
- receiving tickets from multiple email accounts,
- information about someone else editing the same ticket,
- email notification about new tickets,
- ticket filters,
- a howto section with version control.
Uses: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Prototype.
GoldenEye
Server monitoring application, based on data collected by Zabbix. Designed mostly because Zabbix panel had a difficult user privileges maintenance. Now users only have access to the data they should. Goldeneye also allows to enter other data like hardware and software description. Presently I’m working on enabling PDNS usage.
Uses: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, jQuery.
Feniks
Accounting application. My first real application in Ruby on Rails. This is a project developed for an accounting company who had to stop using their previous DOS application. First and foremost it required easy and possibly least error-prone entering of new documents, then it needed proper summing of different values. All in all, not a bad practice.
Uses: Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Prototype.
Thinksimple
This is my project too. It started out as an academic project, but it turned out quite fun to develop. Plus, I have a nice place to experiment.
Uses: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Prototype.
Pięćsetka Polityki
A ranking of top 500 Polish companies.
PHP + jQuery.
Also developed at Lemoncode.
GardenPuzzle
PHP + jQuery as well. This is a great project actually, it doesn’t yet have an English version, but we’re working on it. It’s a tool for designing your own garden, with some social activity around it.
Also developed at Lemoncode.
Calculate!
And there’s the game! It’s called Calculate! and it’s written in Ruby and Shoes. Shoes packager provides binary versions for all platforms but I haven’t really tested them yet. Remember it’s still a very unstable version, with a couple of bugfixes still left.
Oh yeah, and it’s opensource and it’s hosted on github.
